The Curator Gallery is a fine art gallery located at the 23rd Street entrance to the High Line in Chelsea, New York’s well-known art district. Using guest curators, the gallery exhibits works on paper, paintings, photography, and sculpture by emerging and mid-career artists in solo and group shows.
The Gallery’s mission is to bring exposure to hardworking artists, as well as to educate and expand the pool of engaged, serious collectors. Seminars on how and why to start an art collection are offered to groups on Wednesday evenings. Watercolor classes are offered to the public on Sundays.
The Curator Gallery was underwritten by Ann S. Moore, the retired Chairman and CEO of Time Incorporated. Her goals are to give back to the creative community she admires, to provide a meeting place for nonprofits she supports, and to create a robust marketplace to provide financial support and resources to working artists.
