The Bishop is a versatile exhibition and project space located in the heart of the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn. Pulling from the rich culture and diversity of the surrounding community, the Bishop provides an exciting program that mixes art exhibitions, philanthropic giving, educational workshops, and special events.

This welcoming space “keeps the art world in check” by creating an environment that is open to experimentation and where weirdness is celebrated. The Bishop invites the community to be as much a creator as they are an observer of the art that occupies the space.
