The Billie Trimble Chandler Arts Foundation, Inc. dba the Texas State Museum of Asian Cultures & Education Center was established in 1974 to promote social development and understanding of Asian cultures and to facilitate the advancement of world trade and peace.

Our mission is to educate Museum visitors by utilizing art and cultural exhibits indigenous to Asia, educational class offerings, special events and the resource library. The Museum is committed to the educational and cultural advancement of all citizens of South Texas and to the promotion of mutual understanding and harmony with the people of Asia.
