About

The Texas Musicians Museum celebrates its first anniversary! With a full calendar of activities and special offers, nostalgic music fans are sure to be enthralled. The museum houses and  features unique displays of Texas music memorabilia in a brand new multimillion-dollar  facility in downtown Irving's Heritage Crossing district.  Visitors will find one-of-a-kind personal artifacts, history, instruments, photos and more from such renowned Texas music legends as Buddy Holly, Janis Joplin, Selena, Beyonce and ZZ Top … just to name a few. Thousands of throwback pieces from the rich and diverse Texas music scene are on display,  including a striking, 50 foot long wooden guitar salvaged from a historic Eric Clapton concert at Dallas’ Fair Park. Music genres range from Country, Blues and Heavy Metal, to Soul,Tejano, Rock and many more. The museum lends to the ambience of Irving’s old town square where visitors can go back in time with a milkshake at the nearby Big State Drugstore, a 1950s-style fountain and grill.
