About

We serve patrons on the go, who work and live in our neighborhood by providing books, audiobooks, DVDs, and a quiet place to read during the day.

The Terence Cardinal Cooke-Cathedral Library began as part of the New York Archdiocese's Cathedral Library Association in 1887. We are located on the northwest corner of Lexington Avenue and 50th Street, below street level at the entrance to the 6 train.
