Tally Shorts Film Festival

About Us

Embracing the medium of short film, Tally Shorts Film Festival brings a unique and independent cinema experience to North Florida – with the goal of increasing community awareness and support for film as a cultural and economic asset.

We organize an annual competition of hundreds of short films from over 35 countries around the world. Each January at the Festival we screen for the public a selection of these entries – covering a wide range of genres and topics. There’s something for everyone.  The Festival weekend includes Q&A panels with filmmakers, educational sessions, parties each night, and much more.

In addition to showcasing cinema from around the world, Tally Shorts is dedicated to preserving, nurturing and cultivating local filmmakers by providing an avenue to network, showcase and discuss all aspects of film.
