Sun City Blades aspires to be an outstanding athletic organization that provides a high-quality experience to every athlete. A high-quality experience is one in which every athlete is coached using the principles of Positive Coaching, has fun skating on the ice, feels like an important part of the team regardless of skating level, competitive or recreational status or performance, learns "life lessons" that have value beyond skating, learns the skills, technique, and strategies of figure skating, and improves as a team player. Our mission is to provide ice skating competition and training opportunities, encourage the highest standards of ethics and sportsmanlike conduct among its members, and promote development of good character. Participants will be expected to be committed to six principles: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Good Citizenship.
