Sumter County Gallery of Art

The Sumter County Gallery of Art is a housed in a newly renovated state of the art facility adjacent to Patriot Hall.  SCGA is a non-profit art institution and features rotating shows of both traditional and contemporary art by local, regional, and nationally recognized artists. Three Formal Exhibition Galleries considered by many in the South Carolina Arts Community as one of the best exhibition spaces in the state.  SCGA also offers:

• Free group tours available by reservation

• Volunteer Opportunities 

(Our docents receive free memberships)

• Catered, opening receptions for all exhibitions

• Classroom and a media room available for rental

Gallery Gift Shop filled with many unique gifts and works of art made by local and regional artists.  To view a list of some of the artists and the work we have for sale, Art Classes are offered all year for kids, teens, and adults.  Our summer classes are a great way to get the kids out of the house.  To view our current classes and learn more about the Education Department,
