About Us:
In 1967, the Summit Municipal Golf Course was built on 13 acres of land that was once a private estate. This award winning course is the gem of the Summit Park System. The initial design of Par 3 was done by well-known golf architect, Hal Purdy. It boasts nine fabulous holes and amazing conditions.
Summit made history as the first community in New Jersey to open a municipality that owned golf course in New Jersey. It is operated by the Department of Community Programs, but maintained by the Department of Community Services.
The "Muni" is open from early April through November.
