Sugar Island Camp and Canoe

History:

Sugar Island started off as a small business located in Pineville, Missouri. It featured an 11 acre primitive camping ground with public restrooms.

Having around 60 canoes Sugar Island started providing canoe rental services for customers in the late 1970's. 

Throughout the years Sugar Island has gained a lot of customers and has developed to meet the needs of those customers. Now, Sugar Island features an 11 acre campground with electrical hook-ups, a small store in which customers can buy anything from camping gear to hot showers, and over 100 canoes and kayaks available for rent.
