About Us:
We are a small vineyard and lavender farm near Eatonville, Washington in Pierce County. We grow both red and white wine grapes and eleven varieties of lavender, including both English and hybrid. You are welcome to stroll the vineyards and/or lavender field, view Mt. Rainier, use our picnic tables, and experience beautiful lavender without the long drive to Sequim! Winemaker John Adams has been growing his grapes in the Puget Sound Appellation and making wine since 1992. Stringtown Cellars was opened in late 2007 with the label "the Winery at the Farm". John also operates Stringtown Lavender Farm which is the location of the vineyard. Stringtown Cellars handcrafts wines in small lots for a variety of styles and tastes, using grapes grown at the farm vineyard and from eastern Washington. They are a small lavender farm in Pierce County growing nine (9) varieties of lavender (both English and hybrid).
