"Time flys when you're having fun" John Barkle proudly says as he inspects another Noble Fir on his stunning Oregon tree farm. John has been selling Christmas trees in the San Mateo, California area since 1957. When asked if he ever tires of selling Christmas trees, John says "no" with a smile. "Every year, I look forward to seeing friends and their faces light up when they find the perfect tree."

John and Lynne Barkle own Steve's Christmas Trees. Their tree farm is a panoramic paradise nestled in the shadows of Mt. Hood, just outside of historic Oregon City. In 2005 they purchased Steve's Christmas Trees from Steve and Laura Abel and now operate 3 Christmas tree lots under the name of Steve's Christmas Trees. In the winter, John and Lynne migrate South to San Mateo to offer their hand-selected trees to the community.
