Steamboat Era Museum
Mission Statement
The Steamboat Era Museum's mission is to collect, preserve, and act as a depository of artifacts and all types of information pertaining to the steamboats that served the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. The Museum will exist for the enjoyment, education, understanding, and interpretation of the lifestyles, travel, and economics of the area from 1813 through 1937.
