St. Agatha St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival

7960 SouthEast 15th Avenue
Portland, OR 97202

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival initially began as a dinner and festival for the school and parish of St. Agatha back in 1998. Irish dancers’ were invited to entertain the crowds and a traditional Irish dinner and homemade soda bread was served to all. The children of St. Agatha started their very own parade, encompassing only a few blocks around the school. Fellow student and bagpiper Sophie McDuffy led the parade each year, until she graduated in 2006. Over the years, the Festival and Parade has grown and flourished as we have opened our festival up to the entire Sellwood/Moreland community and beyond.
