About Us:

Spruce Goose  Christmas Tree Farm is a family business. John is a forester, as well as a New Jersey Certified Tree Expert. Tree sales began in 1993 and gradually has gained customers and expanded services with hayrides, tree shaking, a Christmas Shop and pre-cut Fraser Fir. The first trees were planted in the spring of 1987.

We replant tree seedlings every spring to sustain a continued crop of trees. It takes us 8-10 years to grow a quality Christmas tree for our customers. During this time all trees are professionally trimmed and shaped each year for your perfect Christmas tree. We offer eight different species of tree in all sizes to meet your needs. We are also proud to be members of both the NJ and National Christmas Tree Growers Associations.

You may find John and Karyn at the front of the farm, bailing and helping with trees. Their two daughters might ring in your order on the register or be making wreaths in the Spruce Goose Christmas Shop. Saws and tree carts are available, as well as staff to assist you. There are ten acres of trees on the farm. You might catch a hayride to the back field for fun!

We believe strongly in a conservation and stewardship ethic and to use best management practices to sustain and protect the natural environment. We promote the many benefits our trees and farm provide such as clean air, water, wildlife habitats, recreation and environmental education. We believe we all share the responsibility to manage and sustain a HEALTHY, GREEN and GROWING NJ! CHRISTMAS TREES are a renewable, sustainable and recyclable natural resource.
