Spring For Sound Music Festival

About Us:
Spring For Sound is an organic, homegrown labor of love and showcase of the musical talents and tastes of Millerton, NY and surrounds.
It all began on a bitter cold September night (anyone remember Fall for Sound?) with just four acts on the decks at NECC. That night was also our band, The Kyles' debut performance! None of us had played an instrument before and we played one song, the only song we knew! After it was over we handed the NECC the few dollars we netted and everyone kept saying, "When can we do this again?" And Mimi and I (Kristen)thought, Hey, we might be on to something with this...!
 This year marks the seventh anniversary of Spring For Sound and now we have over fifty sets on multiple stages, with music all day long and the streets filled with visitors to our town who come out to listen to the music and have a good time. We've given up on the unpredictable fall weather and shifted to late spring. Keep your fingers crossed for another glorious Hudson Valley June day!
Spring for Sound is an all volunteer effort (with a very few exceptions, like our sound engineers). All money raised after paying the bills goes to support the work of the North East Community Center. Special thanks to our team of volunteers who make it all happen and keep it fun! Rock on!
