Our Mission:

To support Spotsylvania County citizens, Spotsylvania County leadership and the American public by moving toward a “world-class museum” dedicated to the collection, accountability, preservation and interpretation of Spotsylvania County’s cultural and natural history, enhancing community cohesion and economic development through education and programs for the County’s citizens and the American public, with a special emphasis on the Civil War.
