About Us:
Southern Prohibition Brewing launched in April of 2013 with two simple goals: brew great beer and help make Mississippi a great place to live. Our 22,000 sq. ft. warehouse was a furniture showroom when originally constructed in 1941. After some renovations, the microbrewery in Downtown Hattiesburg houses a 20 barrel brewhouse. With three 60 barrel and four 40 barrel fermenters, Southern Prohibition currently has the capacity to produce 5,000 barrels a year.
