South Plainfield Public Library

The first priority of the South Plainfield Public Library is to ensure that the maximum number of South Plainfield residents use and enjoy the Library.

The Library is intended to be a vital, vibrant, and friendly part of the community. To achieve this, the Library features current, high demand and high interest materials in a variety of formats for persons of all ages. Emphasis is placed on stimulating young children’s interest and appreciation for reading and learning, and on continuing this support throughout each child’s school years. The Library also serves as a clearinghouse for obtaining timely, accurate, and useful information for community residents.
