South Orange Family YMCA

On February 5, 2011, our YMCA celebrated a historic achievement in the region when we opened the doors to the South Orange Family YMCA or ‘SOFY’ as we affectionately call it. Located at 45 Gilbert Street Extension in Monroe, this 23,000 square foot building is the culmination of years of planning and months of construction, inspired by a vision to bring a true community and family center to southern Orange County.
