About Us:
The South Central Kansas Library System is one of seven regional library systems in Kansas. Headquartered in South Hutchinson, SCKLS has 154 members representing 76 public libraries (plus 9 Wichita branch locations), 17 academic, 53 school districts with 215 individual schools as well as 8 special libraries in 12 counties.

The SCKLS current service population is: 750,792

Mission
The mission of SCKLS is to provide grants, consulting, continuing education and cost-effective support services to its 158 member public, school, academic and special libraries in twelve counties.

The Goals And objectives :

Facilitate access for all system residents to library resources and services.

Encourage and assist in interlibrary cooperation.
