Somerville Greekfest

The Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church is proud to announce that our annual 3-day festival at 29 Central Street, Somerville, MA. Last year over 6,000 people from various local and far away communities loyally supported our annual festival. They come to taste our delicious, authentic, homemade Greek food, mouthwatering pastries, while enjoying live Greek music and dancing.

The Dormition festival continues to successfully grow and appeal to patrons with diverse demographic status. It has been a traditional event for families and friends and remains our largest community gathering and fundraising event. Festival proceeds thankfully offset some of our church's operational expenses, and sustain our multiple philanthropic ministries including the biweekly Dormition Table providing homemade food and social support to those in need, further uniting our community.
