For many years we were successful dairy farmers and Holstein breeders, so it was a natural transition for us to use our years of experience to raise natural grass-fed, grass-finished Holstein steers for your table. We have been raising grass-fed steers in Vermont since 1989.
Throughout our farming history, starting in 1974, Snug Valley Farm had always raised pigs for family and friends. Adding pork to our retail offerings started in a small way seven years ago, but we always sold out, much to the disappointment of our friends and customers. Snug Valley has expanded our pastured-raised heritage breed pork numbers so we can meet growing demands of retail, farmers' markets and wholesale customers.
