The City's Dog Parks have some unique amenities designed just for dogs, including several training obstacles that the Police Department purchased through a grant. The obstacles include a see-saw, balance beam, tunnel, hurdles, and a large A-frame. Other amenities include benches for us humans, pooper-scoopers to pick up after Fido and his friends, doggy drinking fountains, a fake fire hydrant (at Snedigar Dog Park only), and plenty of parking. The parks are surrounded by 6-foot high chain link fences with one main entrance so dogs can't escape unleashed.
