Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon expanded in 2007 and features private patient rooms throughout, from the Level III Trauma Emergency Department to the well-appointed Family Birth Center. The hospital offers a full range of surgical services, advanced diagnostics including CT, MRI and PET, and a spacious Center for Sleep Disorders.

Skagit Valley Hospital is home to the area’s only cardiac catheterization labs and offers advanced heart and vascular care. Skagit Valley Hospital leads the way in comprehensive cancer care and is a network member of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, which brings together the talents and research power of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, UW Medicine and Seattle Children’s.

In 2010, the hospital added Skagit Regional Clinics to the growing list of services, with more than 100 physicians and allied health professionals providing primary and specialty care in nine locations in north Snohomish, Island and Skagit counties. In addition, Cascade Skagit Health Alliance in Smokey Point, WA, a medical clinic provided in partnership with Skagit Regional Health and Cascade Valley Hospital, offers a wide variety of services including urgent care. Skagit Regional Health is Skagit County’s largest employer and the third largest public district hospital in the State of Washington.

Skagit Regional Health has a vision to be "the best regional integrated health system in the Northwest, dedicated to understanding and exceeding our patients’ expectations."
