Simas Family Vineyard

Over twenty years ago, Chris and I purchased our property in the beautiful Capay Valley with the hope of opening a winery one day. In 2007, we started our journey by picking grapes with our four boys and making wine in our garage.

Now a small-family operation comprised of us, our four boys, and Chris's parents, our dream is becoming a reality. With our five acres of Rhône varietals varietals, we partner with Urban Legend in Alameda to custom crush our grapes and produce Capay Valley's finest wine.

Our story is only beginning, with dreams of opening our own tasting room on the horizon. Until then, we invite you to taste Simas Family Vineyard wine at pop-up-style tastings hosted on our property, local community events, and Yolo County wine tasting showcases.
