Shippensburg Corn Festival

Corner of King and Earl Streets
Shippensburg, PA 17257

History:

The original name of the Corn Festival Committee was Shippensburg Heritage and Recreation Planning Society, or SHARP.  SHARP was a group of local residents alarmed by the demolition of some of the oldest buildings in their historic community. Their initial efforts focused on Shippensburg’s heritage, promoting awareness and preservation of the town’s rich architectural legacy that spans the 18th century to the present.
