Shinzen Japanese Garden

Purpose:

The purpose of this Corporation shall be to aid and assist in the development, maintenance, operation, expansion, protection and preservation of a Japanese Garden situated within the boundaries of Woodward Park, a regional park owned by the City of Fresno, California.  The Corporation shall be empowered to enter into, modify, amend and terminate such contracts, agreements, memoranda of understanding, leases or other undertakings  with the City of Fresno concerning the Japanese Garden and its operations, as shall be in the discretion of the Board of Directors, determined to be in the best interest of the Corporation and in furtherance of this purpose.
