Building a Healthier Community

The Shiawassee Family YMCA Strong Kids Annual Campaign provides outreach and scholarships for those who need a helping hand. We offer a healthy place for children and adults to share the values that unite our community – caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Last year, our campaign allowed more than 1,198 people to enjoy that experience. This year, through our signature programs, we hope to reach even more.

Youth Programs

The YMCA offers focused, coordinated programming to instill in youth lifelong fitness, good nutrition and strong character.

Active Older Adults

We provide the facilities and low-cost fitness programming to help adults stay healthy, active and socially engaged.

Strengthening Families

The YMCA plays a pivotal role for hundreds of families. We provide family fitness programs, day camps, special events and a network of community programs designed to support working parents and keep family bonds strong.
