Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church

Mission:

Our mission is to make disciples who extend the love of Jesus to all.  We will tear down walls of race, gender, status, orientation, age, disability and nationality to build a community where everyone can be in true relationship.  We are especially called to stand with those who have been neglected, forgotten, rejected and made vulnerable.  

To fulfill our mission, our focus this year is:

 - Accepting, inviting and including all who have experienced hurt and rejection, especially at the hands of the Church. 
 - Nurturing the next generation of disciples:  the children and youth of the Chapel Hill community. 
 - Serving and advocating for our neighbors, and wherever poverty and physical need is found in our community.

Vision:

Our vision is to become an increasingly diverse church that lives out the teachings of Jesus to:

 - Accept Without Judgment
 - Serve Generously
