Shakopee Ice Arena

Built in 1995, the Shakopee Ice Arena is open 11 months out of the year for practices, games, recreational skating, lessons, camps and tournaments by local and surrounding community organizations. It includes one sheet of ice, locker rooms, pro shop and bleacher seating for 900. The arena is attached to the Shakopee Community Center.

The city-operated arena is home to the Shakopee High School boys and girls hockey teams and the Shakopee Youth Hockey Association. It also offers skating lessons for all ages, in addition to open skating and other skate programs.
