Mission

Shakespeare on the Plaza presents free, outdoor Shakespeare in the urban center of Albuquerque and creates programs that reach out to populations with limited access to the arts.  We do this in order to foster public connection on common ground, whether it is among our diverse audience members, between the audience and the professional artists in our company, or with those organizations that support our productions and programs.
