About The Library

The Scottdale-Tobie Grant branch is a Homework Center and as such specializes in assisting children with successful completion of homework and other school assignments using relevant materials, programs and equipment. The award winning program of this branch includes viewing and listening stations for videos and audiocassettes and multimedia PCs.

The Library, together with the recreation center in the same building, have served as the community center for the Scottdale community since 1962. The library is named for Mrs. Tobie Grant of Scottdale who donated forty acres of her land to be used for the community center and park.
