The Saranac Lake Civic Center has an active schedule of hockey, skating, and other events. In addition to biweekly public skating on the indoor rink, the Civic Center has an outdoor rink that is maintained by volunteers. The outdoor rink is behind the softball field and adjacent to the back parking lot next to the Civic Center. Depending on the weather, it is open for public skating daily until approximately 10:00 PM.
