Jan Peverill and Sandy Heil founded the San Clemente Certified Farmers Market in April of 1994. The San Clemente Certified Farmers Market has been managed by Rick and Sandy Heil since the inception.

The mission statement states: “provide the best possible produce and service available to the city of San Clemente”. All farmers are certified by the Orange County Department of Agriculture and grow all of their produce in the state of California.
