San Antonio Horrific Film Festival

The Horrific Film Fest was established in order to give more opportunities and exposure to independent filmmakers around the world. Working with horror, horror/comedy, thriller, suspense, sci-fi and, Animation filmmaker George L. Ortiz (Ortiz Entertainment; The House of the Demon) decided in 2007 to bring this event to San Antonio, Texas. Our film fest is been going on for 8 Years each year it gets bigger and better we cater to our independent filmmakers, and the Celebrities that we bring to our festival are the ones to Honor the WINNERS by presenting them with their awards at the ceremony on Sunday 'How cool is that "Also our film fest it an" OFFICIAL FESTIVAL" by our Film Commissioner in San Antonio, TX "My goal is to bring tourism to the San Antonio area and attract filmmakers from around the world "And help them get distribution Deals. The filmmakers that are accepted into The Horrific Film Fest compete for the most prestige's custom made Chainsaw awards, and writing Award "the Johnson Family Award.
