Salt and Smoke Festival

TASTE 2017 honors Kevin Callaghan, acclaimed chef/owner of Acme (Carrboro, NC), and the originator of Salt & Smoke, a traveling festival of authentic Southern food and music.  As Kevin would say – “Get your South on” and join us for a casual celebration of Southern traditions. We’ll enjoy BBQ, oysters, beer, music and all the fixins with live music from Chapel Hill’s renowned bluegrass band Big Fat Gap. The Rickhouse overlooks the famed Durham Athletic Park, the original home of the Durham Bulls, and you can sit, stand, or stroll around our Southern-style BBQ atmosphere and backdrop.
