Saint Clair Branch Library

310 South Second Street
Saint Clair, MI 48079

The St. Clair Library, founded in 1869, began through the members of the Ladies Library Association. Initially the members met in their homes until 1874 when the library acquired space in some of the rooms at City Hall. The library moved again around 1944 to the Schwab Building on Riverside.

The library joined the St. Clair County Library in 1967, and moved to its present location on Second Street. Today, the St. Clair Library Branch of the St. Clair County Library serves a population of over 5,000 residents by offering many programming events, computing resources, and a wide range of materials.
