To begin your journey, you step into the Historical Thomas Macy Warehouse... ... a perfect setting for a stimulating collection of art  and antiques. The upstairs gallery exhibits paintings,sculpture and craft, both by internationally distinguished and emerging contemporary artists, including U.S., Russian, Western European, Canadian and Latin American.

Established in 1981 offers works by leading American self taught artists in addition to Caribbean and Latin American Folk Art and  European Naives.The sculpture garden and upstairs gallery offer peaceful respite from summer crowds, with weekly changing exhibitions.

Furthermore the gallery plays host to theater performances,concerts and lecture series, which are accentuated by outsider art and collectibles from all over the world.

The gallery was formed in 1981 by Carolyn Walsh and as the name suggest hosts the absolute best collection of Sailor's Valentines by some of the country's most renowned artists. It is truly a diverse, intriguing and provocative collection with surprising discoveries at every turn. Sailor's Valentine Gallery is commited to supporting Charity and Benefit Events such as auction and beneficiary concerts on the Island.
