The museum presents chronological and technological advancements in the industry from before WW I to the present.

Its mission was and still is five fold.

   1. To honor the leaders of the two industries with enshrinement into a national Hall of Fame
   2. To archive the rich history of the industries by maintaining a library of historical publications and documents as a resource of information for all parties interested in the development of the industries.
   3. To create a display of historic RV/MH products in a museum for the education and enjoyment of the public.
   4. To aid in promoting the industries to potential new customers by showing that the lifestyles have been enjoyed for over a century and will continue into eternity with advanced creature comforts.
   5. To provide a first class meeting place to hold shows and industry events
