To Collect items that are pertinent to the history and development of the Meadowlands area and its communities. This includes, but is not restricted to, manuscripts, photographs, maps and other paper items, and objects such as textiles, tools, folk arts, toys and rocks and minerals of the area.
To Preserve items related to the area's history.

To Interpret the history of the area through exhibits, research and educational programs.
