“Preserving Our Legacy”

The Heritage Association has been instrumental in helping beautify the downtown historic are. It owns and maintains the following historic properties:

  • Hale Springs Inn
  • Crockett Spring Park
  • Joseph Rogers Tavern
  • The Old Tavern house
  • Tennessee Newspaper & Printing Museum

The Association’s office is located in the old Southern Depot that houses the Newspaper and Printing Museum.

The Association hosts Heritage Days, one of northeast Tennessee’s most popular events. Rogersville’s historic town square and its quaint shops and historic homes provide a warmly welcoming festival setting for Heritage Days-a traditional community celebration of Rogersville’s unique heritage. The festival showcases traditional music, storytellers, dancers, special events for children, demonstrations of pioneer skills, antique quilts, cars and farm equipment, a juried craft show, and a food court to delight everyone!
