Rockleigh offers a comfortable and roomy triple course of 264 acres at the base of the Palisades western slope in Bergen County's "Northern Valley".  In 1957 Alfred H. Tull [more] laid out the original 18 hole course (Red and White) over the rolling pastures of 18th Century Dutch farms. This first public golf course in Bergen County opened on April 1st, 1959. Then in 1964, Robert Trent Jones [more] added the complementary nine (Blue).  You can count on getting your money's worth from this classic creation of these great master designers. The turn into the 21st Century has been celebrated by a complete renovation of the Red and White courses.  Re-designed by Robert McNeil [more] of The Northeast Golf Company, improvements included reconstruction and expansion of all tees with increased yardage, reworked bunkering with addition of 21 new bunkers, as well as new greens at White No. 5 and Red No. 4.  Improvements also include drainage and an impressive continuous cart-path system.
