The Robert Kidd Gallery of Birmingham, Michigan was founded in 1976 by Robert Louis Kidd and Ray Frost Fleming, both graduates of the Cranbrook Academy of Art. While exhibiting the work of many emerging contemporary artists, the gallery roster is further distinguished by such prominent names as Milton Avery, Harry Bertoia, John Chamberlain, Larry Rivers and Helen Frankenthaler. In addition, the gallery offers services for the acquisitioning and de-accessioning of artwork by significant modern and contemporary artists such as Deborah Butterfield, Hans Hofmann, Alexander Calder, Franz Kline, and Richard Diebenkorn. Comprised of an impressive 5,000 square feet of exhibition space, the elegant two level gallery is a member of The  Detroit Art Dealers Association and is currently a direct representative for the estates of Milton Avery, Harry Bertoia, Hans Hofmann, and Marshall Fredericks.
