River Run Farm

River Run is a 30 acre Equine facility that is centrally and conveniently located in the Hickory section of Chesapeake, lying between I64 and the North Carolina boarder, just minutes from the Chesapeake Expressway.

In addition to boarding your valued equine friend, our specialties include teaching both hunter and western riding lessons, training, whether it's breaking your youngster to ride or teaching them how to load, clip or stand while mounting, or simply helping you and your horse to speak the same language ensuring that you get the most out of your relationship with  him.  

At River Run Stables, our training, boarding, lessons, showing, and guided trail rides, offers horse lovers the opportunity to experience a rewarding relationship with a very special and noble creature.
