About Us:

Matt and Jessica Hess opened the award-winning River North Brewery in February 2012. Brewing out of the RiNo district of Denver, Matt focuses on Belgian-style ales and American ales with a Belgian twist, with an emphasis on barrel-aging.

A former engineer, Matt describes his brewing style as "yeast-centric," showcasing his favorite ingredient in beer. In doing so, Matt pushes his beers beyond the norm, turning your palate on to the full spectrum of complexity imparted by Belgian yeasts.

The brewery is located at the southern tip of the up-and-coming River North neighborhood of Denver, which is fast becoming one of the premier beer destinations in Colorado.
