River Legacy Parks

River Legacy Parks is a 1,300-acre urban oasis that follows the curves of the Trinity River in north Arlington. It is considered the crown jewel of the Arlington Parks and Recreation Department's park system. River Legacy Parks is operated and maintained by the Parks Department, and the Foundation provides support for additional amenities, preservation efforts and care as needed.

The Parks’ ecological diversity of bottomland forest, wetlands and prairie provides abundant habitat for countless birds, fish, mammals, and native plants.
