Riesel Fair

The purpose of the Riesel Fair is to encourage farm families to improve their methods of production, provide, opportunities for friendly competition and association, spreading of farm knowledge from one community to another.

To provide a place and time for the gathering of relatives and friends, the joining of the people of central Texas in a pleasant meeting, the display of the products of the Riesel Community before the visitors.

To provide commercial concerns the opportunity to show their products to an appreciative audience, to provide entertainment of amateur and professional nature for the relaxation of fair goers,

The fair is planned and expense underwritten by the Riesel Lion's Club. However, it is a community project in which volunteer workers, both Lions and non-members, carry the work of the fair in an unselfish display of community spirit.
