Reno Ukulele Festival and Acoustic Faire

It's the Reno Ukulele Festival & Acoustic Faire with Swing Thing! That's a long name! What does it all mean? After our 11th anniversary bash I wondered where to take the festival to begin it's second decade, so I looked at how the ukulele has evolved as an instrument and in its playing styles. What I realized was this: Many ukulele pros also play other instruments and add techniques from those to their uke skills. In addition, the ukulele itself is now a diverse family of acoustic and electric instruments and it is being played in many different styles.
