The library provides materials that will promote opportunities for everyone to become more educated and informed by providing equal access to information. This library serves all ages, promotes reading, serves as an educational tool and supports the free exchange of ideas. Join us at the Ray Township Library. With over 13,000 books, videocassettes, audio books and magazines, you are sure to find many things of interest. The Township Library is located in a former one-room schoolhouse that was built in 1863. The “Mill School” served the community to educate the children of Ray Township for ninety-one years. The ownership of the school and property was transferred to Ray Township in 1953. The building was reconditioned in 1983 and opened as the Ray Township Library.
